Introduction of sterilization methods for infant baby bottles.
Boiling disinfection.
1. Prepare a stainless steel pan filled with cold water at a depth that completely covers all the cleaned feeding utensils. (stainless steel pot must be sterilized for infant baby bottles only, and can not be mixed with other cooking food at home)
2. If the infant baby bottle is made of glass, it can be put into the pot together with cold water. After the water boils for 5-10 minutes, put the nipple, bottle cap and other plastic products. Cover the pot cover and cook for 3-5 minutes, then turn off the fire. When the water is slightly cool, take out the nipple and bottle cap with sterilized clip, and put it back on the bottle after it is dry. If it's a plastic infant baby bottle, you should wait for the water to boil, and then put the bottle, nipple and bottle cover into the pot for disinfection, and boil it for about 3-5 minutes. Finally, take out all the parts with the sterilized clamp, and put them in a clean and ventilated place, and then buckle and drain.
3. It should be noted that the plastic infant baby bottle should not be boiled for a long time, so it is recommended to put it into the bottle after boiling for 3-5 minutes, otherwise it is easy to deteriorate. You can also pay attention to the temperature label on the bottle. If it is not heat resistant, it is best to use steam pot for disinfection.
Steam pot disinfection.
There are many kinds of electric steam cookers with various functions and brands on the market. Parents can choose according to their own needs. The disinfection method only needs to follow the instructions, so as to achieve the purpose of disinfection of feeding appliances. However, it should be noted that before using the steam pot for disinfection, all the milk bottles, nipples, bottle covers and other items should be thoroughly cleaned, and then put them in together. Press the switch. After the disinfection is completed, the power supply will be automatically cut off.
After the infant baby bottle is disinfected, the residual water in the bottle should be poured out thoroughly, and then the bottle should be inverted and drained. The sterilized bottle, nipple and bottle cover should be taken out with sterilized clips and placed in a ventilated and clean place for standby use, and covered with gauze or cover. In addition, if the bottle is still not used after 24 hours of disinfection, it is necessary to carry out disinfection again to avoid bacterial breeding. After the baby drinks milk each time, the mother can first use the bottle brush to clean the infant baby bottle, collect and put it on the bottle rack to dry. After accumulating to a certain amount or the size that the disinfection pot can hold, the mother can carry out disinfection work together. So the mother must prepare many infant baby bottles at a time to meet the needs of the baby.
Chemical disinfectant immersion method.
Soak in 0.5% Peracetic Acid Solution for 30 minutes. Or soak in 0.1% potassium permanganate solution for 30 minutes, or TD and other effective chlorine disinfectant put in 10g in 1kg for 2-3min, then take out and rinse with water.
Microwave disinfection.
Fill the cleaned infant baby bottle with water and put it into the microwave oven. Turn on the high heat for 10 minutes. Do not put nipple and connecting cover into microwave oven to avoid deformation and damage.
Parents can choose bottle cleaner to clean the infant baby bottle, which is faster, more efficient and safer.
