3 steps to choose the best children’s water bottle

How to choose the best children’s water bottle?

1. The choice of water bottles for children of all ages.

If your child was exclusively breastfed six months ago, you don't need to drink water.

After 6 months, replace it with a learning cup to let the baby change the way of drinking water from sucking to swallowing. "X" mouth straw bottle is a good choice. It can control the speed of water flow and prevent the baby from choking.

After 9 months, use duck beak cup or ordinary straw bottle to further exercise the ability of hand and eye coordination experience.

Duckbill cup and straw bottle have gravity ball and anti backflow design, which are very suitable for kids. After the age of two, the kids can drink water with an ordinary wide mouth bottle to gradually get rid of the learning cup.

2. The size of the water bottle.

Children under 2 years of age are recommended to use 350 ml water bottles, and children over 2 years of age can use 400 ml to 500 ml water bottles.

3. The material of the water bottle.

Try not to choose glass for children's water bottles. Although the glass material is safe, it is easy to hurt the child if it is broken.

Don't buy PC water bottles for children. PC water bottles are easy to release BPA in case of high temperature.

Although the children's water bottle made of PP does not contain BPA and is cheap, it is not durable. The PP material is turbid and opaque, poor texture and turns white after a long time.

Tritan is a widely used material for infant products in Europe and America. The bottle body is transparent, but it is not resistant to high temperature. It will deform if it exceeds 100 degrees. Not suitable for high temperature disinfection and boiling water.

PPSU material is safe, strong and fall resistant. The maximum temperature resistance can reach 180 degrees. It is usually light yellow, high transparency and not easy to wear. It is suitable for a variety of disinfection methods such as microwave and boiling water.

PPSU is recommended for purchasing plastic children's water bottles. 316 stainless steel is preferred for children's thermos bottles, followed by 304 stainless steel. In addition, the water bottle straw should be made of food grade silicone, which is soft, resistant and safer.
