Can glass water bottles be sterilized by boiling at high temperature?

The newly purchased glass water bottle, whether single wall glass water bottle or double wall glass water bottle, can be sterilized by high temperature boiling.

Boiling water will not deform the glass water bottle. Because the glass water bottle is made of glass, usually made of high borosilicate glass, after more than 600 degrees of high temperature firing. The boiling temperature of the water is only 100 ℃, which is far lower than the forging temperature of the glass water bottle. It will not damage the stability of the glass water bottle or cause the glass water bottle deformation.

Boiling water will not cause the glass water bottle to burst. High borosilicate glass is a special glass material with low expansion, high temperature resistance, high strength, high hardness, high transmittance and high chemical stability. Moreover, this kind of glass has very low coefficient of thermal expansion and can withstand the drastic change of temperature difference of 200 degrees. So even if the temperature of the glass water bottle is minus centigrade, put the boiling water directly to disinfect, the glass water bottle will not burst.
